Lodge amenities include the Avanyu Spa, which features massage, body wraps and innovative skin therapies. Guests can swim beneath the California sun in the outdoor pool, sip tropical drinks poolside, or relax in the spa tub, sauna or steam room. Active guests may choose among nine tennis courts or can try their hand at croquet, while golf enthusiasts receive preferred booking status for 36 holes of golf at Mission Hills Country Club. In addition, work out enthusiasts may take advantage of personal trainers at the on site fitness center. This resort also comfortably hosts conferences and special events with 14,000 square feet of meeting space and wireless Internet access. Additional conveniences include a 24 hour front desk, business services, concierge service and convenient laundry facilities. Dining is available poolside and cliffside at Mirada Restaurant and Pool Bar, and the Café offers formal seating for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Guestrooms. The three story Lodge at Rancho Mirage features 240 smoke free guestrooms and 21 suites. French doors open onto patios or balconies and feather beds are dressed with fine linens and goose down pillows. Marble bathrooms are stocked with designer toiletries. Guestrooms also feature wireless Internet access and multi line telephones.
Expert Tip. The Lodge at Rancho Mirage provides solitude, as further construction in the hills is not permitted. Only guests of the Lodge and endangered longhorn sheep are free to wander the surrounding environs. An annual fundraiser works to ensure protection of the rare sheep.
